Items We Can Accept

  • Clothing, shoes, and boots

  • Housewares: dishes, glassware, kitchen utensils, lamps, and small appliances (microwaves, toaster ovens, etc.)

  • Jewelry

  • Hats, gloves, mittens, and scarves

  • Books and media (CDs, DVDs, vinyl records, etc.)

  • Games, toys, and sports equipment (no skis)

  • Collectibles, antiques, and Knick knacks

  • Hand tools and small power tools

  • Linens, curtains, blankets, etc.

  • Electronics: newer flat-screen TVs, stereos, radios, VCRs, DVD players, etc. in working condition

  • Furniture: dressers, tables, sofas (not sofa beds), bed frames (except waterbed frames), etc.

  • Some exercise equipment

Items We Cannot Accept

  • No wet or dirty clothing

  • No soiled or broken furniture

  • No household chemical products such as pesticides, paint, paint thinner, drain cleaner, oven cleaner, aerosols, etc.

  • No automotive hazardous waste such as tires, lead-acid batteries, additives, gasoline, oils, antifreeze, etc.

  • No large appliances such as refrigerators, freezers, stoves/ovens, washers/dryers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, furnaces, trash compactors, water heaters, large console stereos, oil-filled space heaters, etc.

  • No computers (towers/CPU, monitor, mouse, keyboard, printer, etc.)

  • No food items.

  • No mattresses/box springs, including waterbed mattresses/frames, couches with hideaway beds, daybeds, futons, or hospital beds

  • No carpet or carpet padding (area rugs are fine)

  • No plumbing fixtures or building materials.

  • No traditional recyclables such as glass, newsprint, office paper, cardboard, plastics, magazines, junk mail

  • No cribs, car seats, walkers or other products that do not meet the current safety standards of the US Consumer Product Safety Commission, including recalled items.

  • No medical equipment

  • No pianos or organs

  • No fire extinguishers

  • No metal desks.

  • No skis of any kind
